ResEdit is a free Resource Editor for Win32 programs. You can use it if you want to use dialogs, icon, version information or other types of resources. Output files can be compiled by any Win32 compiler, like MinGW and Microsoft Visual C++. To open a file which uses Win32 API symbolic constants, you will also need Win32 header files (usually coming with you compiler).

ResourcesExtract is a small utility that scans dll/ocx/exe files and extract all resources (bitmaps, icons, cursors, AVI movies, HTML files, and more...) stored in them into the folder that you specify.

Simple tool to display an hex dump of the header (first 256 bytes) of a file. It's designed with the non skilled PC user in mind, to provide a quick & easy tool to aid in searching assistance in a forum about a certain file.

A lite freeware reporting tool for Delphi / C++Builder.
FreeReport consists of a report engine, a designer, and a previewer. Its capabilities are comparable to QuickReport3 and ReportBuilder 3.52.
FreeReport works with Delphi 2/3/4/5/6/7/2005 and 2006 and C++ Builder 1/3/4/2005/2006.

Property Edit
Includes some interesting features to analyze/inspect a program's EXE-File or its running instance. This ranges from PE-file information, window attributes, Delphi/C++ Builder class details on running programs (also when compressed/encrypted) to a color picker which translates into different color formats.

HxD is a carefully designed and fast hex editor including raw disk editing, modifying foreign RAM and handling files of any size. Its clear interface offers searching/replacing, exporting, checksums/digests, insertion of byte patterns, a file shredder, concatenation or splitting of files, statistics and more.
Editing works like in a text editor with functions streamlined to hide differences that are purely technical. For example you can view a drive just as one stream, can open it under Windows 9x or Windows NT+, undo, search, save, export or whatever you could do with a file. There is no sector-limited editing that gets in your way. The same holds true for the file size (also > 4 GB), which doesn't affect editing speed and still supports undo. Or have a look at the RAM-editor that supports data-folding on every memory section and hides by default inaccessible memory, for a better overview but keeps the real offsets.

A.F.9 Replace some bytes
A.F.9 lets you edit files by replacing characters or any other bytes. The functionality is similar to a replace function in text editors, but there are a few differences:
- You can edit many files in one operation.
- You can replace several search phrases at a time.
- You can use characters, decimal values or hexadecimal values for your search and/or replace argument.
- You can edit really large files, since A.F.9 doesn't need to load the entire file into system memory.

Dependency Walker
Dependency Walker is a free utility that scans any 32-bit or 64-bit Windows module (exe, dll, ocx, sys, etc.) and builds a hierarchical tree diagram of all dependent modules. For each module found, it lists all the functions that are exported by that module, and which of those functions are actually being called by other modules. Another view displays the minimum set of required files, along with detailed information about each file including a full path to the file, base address, version numbers, machine type, debug information, and more.

VBA Code Compare
VBA Code Compare allows you to compare and merge any Visual Basic code embedded into a VBA project (macros, sheet code, module code etc.). This tool uses direct access for working with VB modules. Thus, you don't have to export the source code to a file for comparing and import the edited code back. You can use this tool for comparing two versions of the same module or for working with the source code when several authors change the code simultaneously. VBA Code Compare allows you to download the source code of two modules, compare them, synchronize (merge) different parts of code, edit the code before and after comparing and save the changes. The interface of VBA Code Compare gives you a chance to view the comparison report in two side-by-side windows, and supports syntax highlighting of the source code of Visual Basic.

Powerfull multiple files hexadecimal editor with Data Inspector, Calculator, File Compare, Memory Dumper and Disk Dumper (NT only). Free to use for both private and commercial users.

Hexplorer is a hexadecimal file editor that offers many features, including 5 color schemes to interpret bytes visually, unlimited Undo operation, find and replace function, pixel viewer, structure viewer, disassembler, Fourier transform and more. It also allows you to export data to C or Assembler, calculates checksums, CRC values, finds patterns and more.

PCI Explorer
Many times when debugging both PCI hardware and software it is very useful to easily be able to browse the available PCI devices in the system without having to use WinDbg or a similar kernel debugger. The PCI Explorer application enables you to graphically view all the PCI devices and the buses they reside on accordingly to the actual hierarchy of the various devices on the buses. The PCI Explorer application also enables you to easily edit memory, I/O registers and Configuration Space Registers assigned to any PCI device in your system.
