With Hugin you can assemble a mosaic of photographs into a complete immersive panorama, stitch any series of overlapping pictures and much more. The first step to making a great panorama or photomosaic is to start with a number of photographs. Hugin allows images to be added in any orientation, in any direction. However, you may find it easier to give Hugin a few approximate hints about where each image belongs. You can specify a certain image to be your guidepost, or anchor. The anchor image will not be moved around, but all of the others will be moved to align to it. You can also specify yaw, pitch and roll orientation for each image, if you know them. Changes to these numbers will be reflected immediately on the Panorama Preview.

JPEG Lossless Rotator
Have you ever thought that when you rotate a JPEG photo you lose its quality? All people usually make photos with different shot orientaton, and some photos need to be rotated. When you rotate a JPEG photo, most image editors decode the photo, rotate the bitmap and then reencode it back to JPEG. This process slightly decreases the final image quality. Unlike other tools, JPEG Lossless Rotator does not recode your image but will perform a special lossless block transformation. As a result, a rotated image has exactly the same quality as the original.

Finished panoramas can be shared with friends and viewed in 3D by uploading them to the Photosynth web site. Panoramas can also be saved in a wide variety of image formats, including JPEG, TIFF, and Photoshop’s PSD/PSB format, as well as the multiresolution tiled format used by HD View and Deep Zoom.
